With the final season just a few months away, there’s a brand new fan project underway to give back to the cast and the crew in a special way once more, at San Diego Comic-Con. The White Tulip project is being organised by two amazing Fringe fans, Flor and Mica. It would be incredible to see the project take off, and you can help make it happen! If you are attending the Fringe panel at comic-con this year be sure to join in, and if not you can still help spread the word! Below you can read the write up on the project, and/or visit Flor’s tumblr post for more as well as a way to help spread the word.
Hello hello Fringe fans! I come to you with a little project for the Fringe Comic Con panel! As you know, this year will be the last Fringe Comic Con panel so me (flowerings) and my sister (missmysticfalls) thought it would be nice to do something special! We came out with a very simple project to show the cast (and Joel)
our love for the show and how much it means to us. Every Fringe fan knows the significance of Walter’s drawing of the white tulip on the show, so what a better way to show that we are fans and we love the show that by doing a project involving white tulips? The idea is very simple: the lovely esterinaska has provided us with an amazing graphic of Walter’s drawing that you can find HERE. Everybody attending the panel would have to print out a copy of that drawing so we can all raise them when the cast comes out. I know, it may sound simple and maybe silly, but imagine how Hall H would look filled with white tulips? More complicated projects are harder to carry out and this is a simple way to show them how much we care and it is also significant to the show In addition to the drawing you print, it would be great if you print out more copies to hand out to people there. We have already printed 50 copies and we will print out at least 50 more! You’re probably wondering what size they should be, here is a picture of how we did it (in A4 paper size).
To sum up! It would be amazing if everybody attending the Fringe panel at Comic Con would print a few copies of Walter’s drawing of the white tulip so we can all raise them when the cast comes out and we can have a Hall H fringeized with white tulips.
If you have any doubts, feel free to message me or my sister here on Tumblr or on Twitter (@floweringss/@msmysticfalls)
LET’S MAKE THIS LAST PANEL A SPECIAL ONE!
